OK, now I'm feeling creative again
It's not exactly a meme but I'm going to steal
scarah2's idea and ask for requests. I'm back in the mood for drawing but I'm often at a loss as to what to draw. So you can all do the thinking for me.
It goes in cycles like this, see. I'll feel all crappy and have just enough energy to do my job and nothing else and my LJ posts will be 90% whining and then I'll snap out of it and feel good and I get enough exercise and food and sleep and I can draw again.
I've been listening to Joseph Campbell books on tape in the car lately and I'm up to The Cosmogonic Cycle and it's kind of like that: in Jainism, there's this concept of a wheel with 12 spokes and it represents how existence is cyclic and there's the good part of the wheel, where people are 8 miles tall and have trees that grant wishes and stuff (OK, I'm explaining it in a bit of a facile way but this is the actual story) and then there's the bad part where people are crappy little gnomes and live in caves in a dried up wasteland. Yeah. That's kind of how it is with me, only on a much smaller scale (well, obviously). Anyway. I ought to start taking advantage more of the good part when it comes around.
I'm going to start a new section on PMI for gift art, requests, etc. So. Who wants me to draw them something? It won't even be on a crappy legal pad (unless you want it to be) but if I don't have a lot of time then it probably won't be computer-colored because that takes a lot longer.
...but if your request is 'finish the Naked Snape sequel' then don't hold your breath because I still haven't figured out what to do with the second half of that so it's going to be months.
Also, it doesn't have to be Harry Potter. I'll draw X-Files stuff or even another fandom like LOTR or Star Trek. Or pirate monkeys, of course.
