In case you don't know, 'scrimshaw' is a type of art where someone (usually a pirate) carves an image on whale bone.

So I brought my Walkman with me to work. I went away for a while and now I'm back at work. In the car on the way here, I was singing, as I am wont to do because I have no radio in my car. I was singing Like a Prayer. Now I'm at work, listening to the radio on my headphones and GUESS WHAT SONG IS ON. And this station has been playing solid Kylie Minogue and I've-honestly-forgotten-her-name Simpson. The younger one. The one who lip-synched on SNL. Anyway. It's not like they play Madonna songs that much. This is the first one I've heard on this station, except they played Music once last week.


So now I have the psychic abilities not only to walk over to the microwave exactly when my food's about to be done but also to sing songs that are about to be on the radio. But not to remember the name of Jessica Simpson's sister.
