13-year-old boy Mits on Puzzle Pirates is a big jerk. Just so you all know.
I challenged him to a Swordfight and beat the crap out of him. Then he sent a "hearty" request (like asked to be on my friends list). I rejected it because I don't put random people I don't even know on my hearties list. What would be the point? The hearties list only exists so you can see whether your friends are online and chat with them. So I rejected it. And he sent the request about four more times. I clicked "reject" each time and then I went over to explain to him my "not putting random people I don't even know on my hearties list" policy but before I could finish typing it, he said "fuc u bich h," which was illiterate enough to get past the crude-word filter.
Before I could say more, someone else challenged me to Treasure Drop, so I went to play with her, thinking Mits would give up. He didn't. He continued to make barely legible insults (because you can chat while you play Treasure Drop). I asked him what his problem was and he said he hated me. Oookay. I pointed out that we're all just here to have fun. He swore more. He was getting on my nerves at this point so I asked him whether he hated me because I rejected his hearty request or because I kicked his worthless butt at Swordfighting. He didn't have an answer for that, just more random letters and misspelled swear words. Then he gave up and left.
You know, this crap seems to have coincided with the recent introduction of the new pay system. I can't help noticing the Tip of the Day was how to report someone for misconduct. And there was a post from the Captain of the crew I'm on telling people not be rude to the rest of the crew and reminding people that children play and we can be demoted or fired if we use abusive language. What the hell is wrong with people? It's a fun puzzle game with cartoon pirates. You can't die, you can't hurt other people. So where do all these little assholes come from who are so desperate for female attention that they get seriously offended when my cartoon pirate refuses to be friends with their cartoon pirate?
