gmonkey42Remeber I mentioned a sample that I'd been working with last week, that wouldn't amplify and I finally got it to work? The sequence came back and it was contaminated. As were a few others. The contamination doesn't seem to be consistent; I think maybe the sequencing lab hired someone new or something because I can't think what the source of contamination could be on our end.
So I tried re-doing the PCR. And it failed. But I know what to try next. It just means I'll be here for a few more hours. At least I didn't take the train, or else I couldn't stay past 7:00. Still, it would've been nice to get home at a reasonable time and finish that last picture. I think I've got everything else ready for the update. Once I've got the PCR running, that'll be just over an hour so I'll go and get me some Chinese food, I think.
This day was just determined to be sucky, wasn't it?
