gmonkey42Re. yesterday: as usual, I plan on getting home at a reasonable time and then something comes up and I end up working till 9:30PM. But I really have to leave early today because I have more samples to take in for sequencing, meaning I have to be in Davis by 5:00PM. So I'll get started on those art requests. Woohoo! And I'll do my laundry because I'm running out of clothes.
ETA Holy crap, those Copics cost a fortune. I think I'll stick with my stylus, actually. I've been able to do some nice stuff employing oil-like techniques (back in high school, I was into oil painting but I haven't done it in ages because of the mess and everything) with Photoshop, like my postcARRd with the ships battling. My mum thought I'd just downloaded that pic from somewhere, actually. I semi-cheated with the ships - I found a photo of two ships and traced it - but the rest is all completely from scratch.
