gmonkey42So here I am at my parents' house. Snape's doing OK. She hid under the bed for a while and she's been coming out, looking around, hissing at everyone then going back under the bed. It's really cute. Smokey, my mum's cat, has been taking it well. He just watches her and he's probably feeling sorry for himself that there's a psycho hissing little cat in his house but he doesn't show any aggression towards her. He just sits there with this long-suffering look. Poor Smokey. At least they're not fighting.
I wanted to buy some trousers but they were $68. That's crazy. So I didn't buy them. I went to Target to look for some cheaper ones but they didn't have anything I liked. The expensive ones were too long; I would've had to shorten them anyway. They used to have them in different lengths (it's The Editor from Express) but they said at the store that they don't sell different lengths now. That sucks. I'm 5'7" and they're way too long for me. I hate that women's trousers all come way too long now because the clothing manufacturers assume we all wear 6-inch heels. Mum said it could also be because if they're too long, people can get them shortened but if they're too short then they can't be made longer. But it seems like a few years ago, when it wasn't so fashionable to have 6-inch heels, I could buy trousers that didn't drag on the ground.
