gmonkey42I actually got a fair bit of stuff done today. I'm going to have to leave early to take some samples in for sequencing.
Our centrifuge is broken. I've never done sequencing clean-up before but it requires a centrifuge - J. says there's also a way to do it with our vacuum manifold, which isn't broken but I have other stuff to do anyway. I'm a lot more comfortable with the 7500. I guess a huge part of that is that the 7500 requires practically no maintenance.
I had some rice stuff for lunch that my mum made. It was good. Rice, marinara sauce, veggies, soy-ground-'beef' and cheese.
Arrgh. A customer just phoned to ask when his tests are going to be done and they're not done yet. I'm running a gel with some of his right now. He ordered about 10 markers - that's more than most people ordered. See, it's these customized tests where the customer can order tests for whatever genetic markers they want and we ended up being delayed because a lot of the primers for those markers didn't work well. I thought I was going to get his done on time, though. Dangit.
