...Is Cecilia Fire Thunder, President of the Oglala Sioux Tribe in South Dakota.
As I'm sure most of you know, South Dakota recently banned ALL abortions except when the life of the mother is in danger. No provisions for incest, rape, etc.
This week, President Fire Thunder stated:
“To me, it is now a question of sovereignty, I will personally establish a Planned Parenthood clinic on my own land which is within the boundaries of the Pine Ridge Reservation where the State of South Dakota has absolutely no jurisdiction.”
