Snape's height

Snape's tall, right? We know Sirius is taller but that just means he's exceptionally tall, whereas Snape's only fairly tall. Like maybe 6' versus 6'5". I was certain the books described Snape as "tall" at some point but I just read an essay saying they never do. I'm at work and can't check right now and it's bugging me.

While we're on the subject, this is total fanon conjecture but does Snape have good posture or not? I'm talking about adult!Snape; we know teenager!Snape had lousy posture. I think it varies. Like he stands up straight when it occurs to him to do so but he slouches when he's not paying attention or he's really occupied with something else (like arguing with Sirius over Occlumency lessons).
