Apr. 13th, 2007 04:31 pmOK, Cool Boss sent me a .pdf and I've turned in the Aquarium application. Now I just have to wait and see whether I get in. I also called Moss Landing and they aren't going to mail the letters until May 1 :(
They said I could call to professor a few days sooner and he could tell me but they just finished round 1 of the decision process and they still have to do round 2.
At least I know the Aquarium job starts at the beginning of June so they'll have to tell people before then. Still, I thought I'd be in limbo for a week or two and now it looks like it'll be more like a month or more. Bah.
This isn't good news with regards to the job situation either. The temp agency doesn't seem to have many that are just one month. I could try another agency. I didn't know when I went to this one that they specialized in long-term and temp-to-hire. It doesn't say that anywhere, they just told me when I came in to interview.
