gmonkey42Actually, this post has nothing to do with New Year, I just thought it was a fitting line for the subject. Anyway. Something Awful's Awful Link of the Day: check out this centaur shit. Good gravy, I could draw better than that when I was 10. The fact that it's hosted on "furry.org" should be warning enough. The fact that something called "furry.org" even exists should be enough to make me set my computer on fire and live the rest of my days on a deserted island in a freaking cave. I am once again forced to ask "is this a fucking joke?" and forced to conclude "No. No it isn't." I know I'm not the best artist on the net but come on. I have nothing against someone drawing freaky horse people, if they have some kind of freaky horse person fetish, but why the need to put it up for everyone to see, when it isn't even done well? At least the pictures executed with some skill are funny.
On to something more pleasant. Sluggy Freelance has been cool lately. Not the filler stuff; that was OK but I prefer Shirt Guy Tom's evil stick figures. What's cool is the whole thing with Bun-Bun. And we'll have to wait a whole year to see the resolution of it.
Hey, resolution. Niiiice segue into New Year's resolutions. I'm not making any. Waste of time, if you ask me (of course, I could resolve to stop being lazy with my LJ and write complete sentences). I think it's silly and I'm not looking forward to the gym being crowded all this month, until people go back to the 11-month-long slothful part of the cycle. I did get some bulbs and I'm going to plant them later today. I think that's cool. Sort of a symbolic, New Year's-y thing. I planted some seeds yesterday. I wanted chives - I made potato skins for dinner - but I couldn't find any so I finally just got some seeds. Just think, in maybe a month, I'll have fresh chives!
Edit: Hey, I just saw another joke about goatse.cx. Er, what is it, exactly? I mean, I get the impression it's a picture of someone having sex with a goat but I could be wrong. I'm scared to look, in case it's one like my brother sent me to one time, that plays this irritating song and if you try to close the window, it opens 10 more windows and you end up having to terminate IE with ctrl+alt+del. So does anyone know what it is?
