snakes!

I was driving home for lunch and there was a snake in the road! So I stopped and tried to shoo it over to the side but it was just scared and wouldn't go. So I got a stick to try to pick it up, because I'm pretty sure it was a gopher snake but I wasn't certain and even if it's not poisonous, it'd still hurt if it bit me. So I tried with the stick but that wasn't working too well. Then two guys came by in a truck and they had a rake and a scoop thing, so they were able to get it into the scoop and put it in the nice field at the side of the road.

That's cool that they like snakes too. Well, one of 'em did; he was the one who actually scooped it up and he said "look at that! that's a beauty!" Because it was a nice big snake, maybe 3 feet long. And the other guy was kind of standing back and he was like "yeah, ok." Heh heh.
