gmonkey42Someone e-mailed me asking me to participate in this project she's doing for school, which will include a PowerPoint presentation at a conference and she'd like to include some of my artwork. That's all fine. The thing I need help with is: one of the pieces she'd like to use is the romance novel cover one and I was thinking maybe I ought to change the words, since the Yahoo group "Veresna's Veneries Too," for which I drew it, no longer exists. My question is: does anyone know how to get in touch with the former mods? I lurked on the group and occationally posted but as I got busier at work I stopped participating and now I have no idea whom to e-mail.
Maybe I'll just change the words regardless, because the piece as it is requires some explanation. But I don't want to offend the former members of the group by doing that. And if I change the title, that means I'll have to come up with some clever words to put in its place. And I'll have to remember what font I used, because it's a nice one. So... any ideas? Simply "Romance Fanfic?" or "Snape/OFC?" Also, does it look like Hermione to you? The person who e-mailed me thought it was Hermione. Not that I mind; I actually just drew what I thought was a generic romance novel heroine and when I'd finished, I thought "dang, that looks like Hermione," so I tried to de-Hermione it a little. The main thing is, I think canon!Hermione would be just as horrified as canon!Snape at the thought of Snape/Hermione.
