bunny update

gmonkey42Update on the stray rabbit we found:
Bun-Bun (it's gray and white so we named it Bun-Bun and I don't know the sex so I'm going to say 'it') is being a bad bunny. It bit my mum and pooped on the couch. About three and five times, respectively. So Bun-Bun's in its cage now. The neighbors didn't want it and we haven't been able to find any signs or announcements about a lost bunny. So we're going to look into shelters today. Best Friends Animal Sanctuary looks great except it's in Utah. There's another shelter in Vallejo and one in Manteca (both in California) so we'll see what those are like.
At least Bun-Bun and Smokey (Mum's cat) got along. Bun-Bun sniffed him a little but otherwise ignored him. Smokey kept an eye on Bun-Bun - after Snape was here, Smokey's probably worried about strange little animals being in his house. I don't think I mentioned, after I took Snape home (last year, I stayed with my parents for about a week and Snape was here with me and she was mean to Smokey) Smokey kept patrolling the house and guarding his stuff. But there was no aggression between Smokey and Bun-Bun. Smokey wanted to smell Bun-Bun a lot. Bun-Bun just sat there being sniffed and eventually got bored and hopped away. That was funny.
