Dude! Someone posted in my guestbook that my site sucks and I need to put more stuff on it. There's lots of stuff on it! That's almost as silly as when someone complained about the lack of monkeys. But a lot of people left nice comments. And if people were only leaving bad comments, I'd just get rid of the guestbook. ETA: and the person called themself "spongebob." That's why I said "screw you, Spongebob." In case you were wondering.

I think I'll make an FAQ page so I can answer questions people leave in the guestbook. Real questions like "how do you make Sims skins?" not questions containing the words "your," "site" and "sucks." Arrgh, I'll have to change the navigation buttons if I want there to be a button for FAQ. And I think it's a good idea to make it easy to find. Oh well. I did that about four times when I was getting everything ready for the update. I started out fine: I made a template so I could just paste in the content for each page but then after I'd made all the new pages, I kept thinking of things I wanted to change and I had to go through and make the changes on every page. It's not too many pages, really. A lot of the pages on my site are plain white with a drawing or comic page. So that's good. I'm glad I didn't put all the comics on pages with all the graphics and navigation buttons.

Hey, here's a job for you all: what sort of questions might you have for me if you hadn't seen the site before and you were looking around? I've thought of technical questions like "how do you make skins?" "how do you color your comics?" "how did you make the quiz?" etc. What other questions might people have?

I'm waiting for some primers to come in. I can't go into the post-PCR lab till I do the work with those primers in pre-PCR. I'm running low on pipette tips anyway, so I'm probably going to wait till those come in to do the thing I have to do in post-PCR. Because that's going to take a lot of tips. There's no hurry with that anyway, I probably need to get it done by Friday. I'm sort of in limbo this week, work-wise. Sort of between projects, waiting for data and supplies. Sometimes I worry that I spend too much time during work hours not working but my parents, both programmers, reassure me that that's how it is with tech jobs. Sometimes you have to wait for things and there's nothing to do. My mum, in her spare time at work, made a game on punch cards with a ship and a plane and you have to drop bombs on the ship. So I'll try not to feel guilty for working on my web site.

Man, I don't know what I'd do without internet access here. Make games, I guess. Where you drop bombs on things.
