I just bought myself some presents

...including the DVD of the complete season 1 of Queer as Folk! I just saw the first two epsiodes and became addicted. I don't get Showtime, so I'll just have to get the DVDs. I decided to restrain myself and get season 2 some other time. I also got a shirt, some Clinique stuff and some chocolates. I believe this calls for a w00t! But I'm in class right now - I went to the mall right before class, because they're both in Sacramento. So I'll have to wait a few hours before I get to watch all the lovely naked men making out with each other. Dang. Why does that always happen? Crappy class. This'd better be worth it. I guess it will be. It'll really be my degree that gets me my next job but the programming will help. I'll just keep telling myself that. Seriously though, the thing is I wouldn't get around to learning this stuff on my own, even though I'm capable of it. I'd just watch Alan Rickman movies and Queer as Folk instead. So it's all for the best. Any of you who haven't seen Queer as Folk yet really, really need to see it. It's good. Good enough to plunk down just over a hundred dollars for the DVD. Hey, I've been pretty careful with money for a while. And I just got paid. So it's cool.
