Dear Gillian,
We're about to take the battle against abortion bans to the U.S. Supreme Court. The court has announced that it will hear Gonzales v. Planned Parenthood, a case challenging the 2003 federal abortion ban.
The stakes in this case are extremely high. The government is arguing that politicians, not doctors and their patients, should have the final say in private medical decisions.
This Friday the 30th at midnight, our fiscal year ends. Our ability to win this case depends in part on what YOU can donate in the next three days.
