Often, when I go to the bathroom here, there's water on the counter by the soap dispenser. I don't get how this happens. People must be washing their hands by getting the hands wet first then getting the soap, getting water all over the counter in the process. That doesn't make sense to me. Here's how I wash my hands:
1. Put the hand I...erm..."used" under the soap dispenser.
2. Use the clean hand to dispense the soap into the poo hand.
3. Put the poo hand in the sink and turn on the water with the clean hand.
4. Wash both hands.
5. Shake excess water off hands.
Then the only water that gets out of the sink is the bit that might drip right next to the sink when I turn off the water.
But there's often a puddle on the counter leading to the soap dispenser. I know it's not me. So I'm curious:
