gmonkey42Ooh, do I wait to see the trailer in all its cinematic glory before the stupid Buggs Bunny movie in two days or do I give in to temptation and watch it right now in a tiny little box on my computer. Hmm...
I was going to get an early night, since I'm suddenly doing 8 hour work days, to which I'm unaccustomed.
Buggs Bunny... tiny box... Buggs Bunny... tiny box...

W00T! I take back everything I said about the inadequacy of the vulture. My expression right now is pretty similar to that of Sirius on the "Wanted" poster. Ok, the choir thing is a little cheesey and, like the carriages in the snow in CoS, really smacks of something they just threw in so they could put it in the trailer.
But back to Boggart!Snape: the dress. It's knee-length! And his slip is showing a little! Bwa ha ha haaa! I always pictured it being floor-length. That's, like, a million times cooler than what I expected after seeing that one photo. Also, he's got a big dead cat 'round his neck.
And I liked how the choir was singing "something wicked this way comes" right as Boggart!Snape emerged from the wardrobe. Maybe he won't be as unambiguously good as the bit where he's protecting them implies. That's pretty much exactly as I pictured him looking as he came out. Understated. Just quietly exuding menace. You rock, Alan. (Yeah, 'cause he's so likely to be reading this.)
They'll have to show some incident in Potions class to justify Snape being Neville's worst fear. They can't just throw that in with no explanation because in the movies so far, Snape hasn't picked on Neville at all. That's just not right. So I think we still have that to look forward to.
Overall: Could've done with more Lupin. Definitely darker, to suit the tone of the book. Excellent. Dammit, be summer! I think I may still go and see it before the Buggs Bunny movie.
