gmonkey42I'm takin' a juice and cookie break. I was so hungry. I had a crapload of PCRs to do. It was only on 6 samples but it was with a ton of different primers so that's still a lot of pipetting. I'm sure you all find that enthralling.
I'm really addicted to The Sims: Makin' Magic. I've thought up some recipes to try. I'm going to see if I can get them to make garlic bread. And I saw the dragon skins that came on the CD, so I'm sure that if I substitute dragon treats for pet treats then I'll turn my pet into dragon. Good thing you can't do that in real life. Snape's destructive enough without being able to breathe fire. She did something really cute a day or two ago. She wanted to come into my room, and I'd stuck her out in the living room a little while before, because that's what I do when she's biting me too much. Anyway. She wanted to come in again, so I opened the door and picked her up and I said "OK, you can come in if you aren't going to destroy things. My little destructo-kitty of doom" (yes, I talk to her like that. Shut up.) And after I said that, she looked up at me with her big green eyes and she reached up and touched my chin with her soft little paws. And I was just all "awwww" and I had to sit with her petting her for a while. I don't want to be mean shutting her out. She just gets too crazy, and there's too much stuff in my bedroom that she gets into. She'll sit on my lap for a while but then she gets bored and starts biting. I guess she'll grow out of it. Other cats I've been around haven't been all bitey like that. Although, other people tell me their kittens weren't like that either. So it's entirely possible that I just have a psycho demon cat. I have a feeling I may have already said that. Oh well. Back to work.
