I've omitted the pages that are just totally boring but here are the rest, along with a few other tidbits (lots of images but I have to sit here uploading them on dialup, so I don't feel too bad):

My badge. It kept flipping itself around on the lanyard thingy so I had to write on the back.

The green dot was for people over 21 so as long as we had our badges, the bartenders didn't have to card us. I tried the Butterbeer and Pansy Parkinson's Sparkly Pink Martini. The Butterbeer was great. The martini was OK. That scribbly thing in the middle is supposed to be "R" for Ravenclaw with a birdy on it. And "Blue for Slash" was the feast sticker. I did get to eat the Welcoming Feast in the Great Hall after all :)

Day 1

"...that they might be able to use at work," is what I meant to say.

Day 1 and 2

And here's the picture I mentioned above, which I swapped with [livejournal.com profile] scarah2 for a drawing of zombie!Sirius

And here's that autograph from Brian of Draco and the Malfoys:

Day 2: the panels

I don't mean to be cruel about this one. I just couldn't help totally disagreeing with the speaker. I didn't say anything, though. Someone else did. I can't remember why I drew dead Sirius but it made sense at the time.

I took a total of four pages of notes because this was a very informative (and super fun!) talk. I'm just including the last two because you're probably already having enough of trying to read my handwriting. But read the bit about the mandrake-pulling ritual. It was so funny, I had to draw a picture.

Day 2 evening: in which I meet Professor Snape

Magical Night Classes:

I have a couple more things to say about the night classes, which were, if you'll forgive my using the word for the eight billionth time, awesome.

1. In Divination, I made a Monty Python joke and a total stranger sitting nearby laughed, which was cool.

2. Potions was the best. I unfortunately hadn't brought my camera but it was taught by Harry Potter ([livejournal.com profile] mijan), who was being supervised by Professor Snape ([livejournal.com profile] logospilgrim). Draco (didn't get his LJ name) was supposed to be assisting Harry and Lucius (didn't get his name either) was there to threaten Harry with his pimp cane.

More awesomeness: I happened to walk by this same Draco and Lucius the next day between talks and they kissed each other. I "woooo!"ed along with all the other nearby fangirls.

Day 3:

I drew this over the course of several hours, finishing up by drawing Prof. Sprout at about 2:00AM when I got back to my room from watching GoF with the other increasingly sleepy fans.

Brotherhood is Jason Isaacs' new show on Showtime. I got to see two episodes on my hotel TV!
