I saw Pirates of the Caribbean, finally. Man, that movie rocked. Johnny Depp was every bit as wonderful as everyone said. And I actually liked Orlando Bloom better in this than in LOTR. I've always liked Geoffrey Rush so that was cool too. The effects were great, like in the fight scenes where they're moving in and out of the moonlight (I won't spoil the significance of moonlight for those who haven't seen it yet). You know what's funny? I was going to do a pirate story with my X-Files Kids comic but I ended up doing the werewolf one instead - but the funny thing is that I was going to name the island where it mainly took place San Tortuga. And, in case you missed it, the island where all the hookers lived in PotC was called Tortuga, if I heard correctly. Maybe I'll do that pirate story yet. That was going to be the first appearance of Petunia as a major character. Though now I'd put her in a different role from the one I originally gave her.

This shouldn't distract you all from telling me where to find the deleted scenes on the Patriot DVD.
