gmonkey42But at this rate, I don't know if I'll ever get it done. Anyway, it's inspired by this fic. The picture is a spoiler for the fic so read it first. It's short and funny. Go and read it right now. It's OK. I'll wait.
They'll all be holding up drinks (Sally doesn't have her arm around Di, the arm will be in front of her) but I haven't drawn those yet. Actually, I drew Vi's arms and drink and everything (she's fiddling with the cherry) but there was a power failure and I hadn't saved it :( Anyway, I figure it'd take me maybe another 3 hours to get it completely done. I know there are things I have to change, not just add, like Di's left foot, those ring things on the barstools and Vi's skirt (which will end up looking more just ruffled and less like a tutu) and the rest of the reflected light on her boots. And there will be a floor, but the bar will still be pretty high. I'll also maybe mess around with a layer over everything else to make it look more dark and smoky. And I might end up doing something completely different with Sally's dress. I couldn't really decide what to do with it. But the blue thing isn't as fabulous as it ought to be. I was just looking at her shoes (I like those) and thinking I should incorporate more gold into her outfit.
So should I finish it or is it just scary and bizarre? I'm undecided.
