I survived so I guess mixing sleep aids and allergy medicine is OK! Hear that, kids? So I promised I'd tell you all about my weekend:

Saturday, I went to cardio kickboxing. That was cool. Then I had lunch with Nicole. She wanted to get some work done in the lab and she doesn't have a key so I came to let her in and then we had lunch. It was at this place called Fusions that's like Asian fusion cuisine. We both got bento boxes with all cool stuff like barbecue tofu skewers and samosas and salad with miso dressing. And fried bananas for dessert. Then later I went home because I had some stuff that I needed my dad to sign.

On Sunday, mum and I went to the mall and got the free gift from Clinique (pirate monkeys love free gifts!) and we went to that sandwich place I like. Where they gave me the aforementioned extra pickle. Mum got a cheddar roll and there was a big crunchy piece of melted-then-solidified cheese stuck to it. That was funny. It's like "hey! bonus cheese!" So we ate our food in the park. Then we went to this shop in Pleasanton where they sell all stuff imported from England and I got some Curly Wurlys. And a Dairy Milk caramel egg. And some Ribena because I'm running low. Also some Heinz sandwich spread.
Across the street from that, there was a hardware store having a going-out-of-business sale. We went in to have a look and they had all these Tiffany lamps 75% off! And there's a really ugly celing light fixture in my new place that I'll need to replace... so I got a Tiffany lamp! I think I'm going to paint my bedroom blue because I have a print of some impressionist painting that's a river scene all in blues and greens. I got that on sale too. They periodically have these poster/print sales outside the campus bookstore and it was the last day of this particular one and I saw this print but there was a little flaw in the frame so I asked about it and they gave me $5 off. So after all that, we went home and sorted out all the paperwork. One of the papers had to be notarized and it was hard to find a notary that was open on Sunday. We finally found one in Walnut Creek in a mortuary. That was weird.

So there's my weekend. And now back to work. Dang.
