Ans as long as I'm screencapping, here's a closeup of Sylar with baby Matt Parkman! Look at him grabbing Sylar's collar! D'awww!

You know what I couldn't help thinking about during this scene? "Fall asleep fall asleep fall asleep fall asleep fall asleep, jesus christ, fuck this, I'm outa here!"

You know what else? I didn't know that was Ray Park! I've never seen him without Darth Maul or Toad makeup. ...I guess Toad didn't have a lot of makeup. It's just been a while since I saw X-Men.

More liveblogging while I re-watch the ep:
- Tracy saying to HRG "definitely one of us... one of me." Foreshadowing? Will HRG get superpowers??

- WHAT THE HELL, DANKO? THAT IS A STUPID PLACE TO STORE A KEY. How did he expect to be able to use it? Did he swallow it recently? Why??? I guess we'll find out.

- So Peter thinks he's Spiderman now?

- You know what, the type of person who maps out their life for the next fifty years and gloats over winning at Guitar Hero instead of making any friends is EXACTLY the type of person who would throw themself out a window.

- LOL, Peter's actually turning into a badass. OMG dude I missed the line the first time but check this out:
HRG: "So why'd you come with me?"
Peter: "The ability - help me do my job better. The one where I actually save people." Apart from the saving people part, who does that sound like? Going after someone for the sole purpose of getting their ability?? :D

- LOL defenestrated. I know what it means too. And I am better at math than Claire. Well, I hope I am. I got a solution but it's all weird fractions. Here it is, see if you can come up with a solution involving whole numbers:

x + 2y + 3w + 4z = 10
2x - y + w - z = 1
3x + y + 4w + 3z = 11
-2x + 6y + 4w + 10z = 18

I admit that is actually kind of hard to do by hand in under 45 minutes. OTOH I was watching the show and typing this post in amongst doing the math, which made it take longer.


Wait... crap, I am almost as bad at math as Claire! I looked it up to see if other people got the same answer as I did and they said 1, 1, 1 and 1 works. I must have made a mistake. I wouldn't have gotten into Ted Schmidt's algebra class :(

- Sylar to Matt: "We both know what Janice needs is a real man: someone who's not afraid of power. Someone who knows what to do with it." Um, like for example, I dunno, maybe SYLAR?
You're not fooling anyone, Sylar, we know you only have eyes for Mohinder. Which, by the way, WHERE'S MOHINDER?!?

- Tracy/HRG just makes me go "meh."

And finally:

OK, Sylar and Peter obviously but who's the one on the left? Is that meant to be Tracy? I used to have the same difficulty figuring out who the people were supposed to be in Isaac's paintings. I guess based on what we see Carnival Guy? Samuel saying in the promo for next week, it's probably Claire. Dude, Claire is going to freak the hell out when she arrives at the carnival and Sylar's there.
