new PoA pics on MuggleNet

gmonkey42OK, I didn't come in at 3:00AM. I was too tired, so I came in at the usual 8:00AM. And I made some horrible coffee and I had to put in three packets of sugar to make it potable. Anyway.
Some things about the 25 new pictures from PoA they have up on MuggleNet:
- I like Lupin with the cane. I wonder if they're going to mention it in the movie. In a way, I hope they don't. From the picture, it doesn't look like it's just an affectation, like Lucius' (I guess, technically, Lucius' a concealed weapon too). But it'll be cool if they just have it there, without dwelling on it. Then you don't know whether his leg was injured when he was bitten, or later, like in the first war, or if he was just born with it like that. Like Dr. Weaver on ER. Or maybe he just had too much sex with Snape. "Ah," says Lupin "but you should see Snape."
- speaking of which, there's not a single picture of Snape. That's disappointing. But I'm not disheartened because we know he has to have more screen time in this one.
-dang, this caffeine's starting to get to me.
- what's with Hermione's hair? I guess other people have mentioned this but I didn't notice it till now. It's supposed to be bushy, not all J-Lo curly.
- also, I don't like the casual clothes. I can see them wearing them them on the weekend but they wouldn't go and change out of their uniforms immediately after classes. And anyway, they look too modern. I do, however, like Draco's hat. At least the Malfoys still have fashion sense.
- that one picture of Harry in a white shirt with the sleeves rolled up? Daaaaamn. I wouldn't have said it before, but now Tommy deffinitely has some competition for Hottest Male - Underage Category. Heh.
- maybe the mustache won't be so bad. But the pictures are so low-res, I can't really see it. Maybe that's why I think it won't be so bad, and it'll actually be appalling. Yeah, that's probably it.
