I saw Star Trek!

gmonkey42I made this icon in honor of Spock, who is cool, plus seeing Kirk get the crap smacked out of him is always a good thing.
I don't have a lot to say about it. Which is the usual result after I watch a movie. I enjoyed it. It felt very much like the pilot episode of a TV series (and I kind of wish it were one). They spent two hours setting up the new timeline and getting the crew together so they could start having new adventures... and then the movie ended.
But Spock is cool.
ETA: for those of you who didn't like Spock, here's a video of Zach Quinto getting beaten up by some cats and then Alyssa Milano explodes him. So there's that.
