Uh, check two things off the list: going to my parents' place and eating something. And Mum and I went to Starbucks. Mum never gets stuff there because one time, she tried getting something except she doesn't know what the stuff is and she expected something with all whipped cream and chocolate sauce but she'd ordered an iced latte and she didn't like it. So today I was getting a caramel frappuccino and she saw some girls with starberry creme frappuccinos and she said those looked good. So I said why not get one? And she said 'no, they have coffee' and I said the creme ones don't have coffee. So we looked at the menu and she got a vanilla creme and she really liked it. So that's cool. I always felt a little bad before when I was out with my mum and wanted a coffee, because I think she felt like Starbucks was all Gen-X and she was out of touch or something. But now she knows they have drinks that are basically milkshakes. I made my own mocha frappuccino the other day and it was good. And that was with nonfat milk and dairy-free chocolate sauce. </ crap about coffee>

Also, I was bugging my brother to register to vote this year but he won't. I was telling Mum about it in the car and she pointed out that maybe it's a good thing because he would've voted for Schwarzenegger, because he's a movie star. I don't get it. I said to him "Bush wants to draft YOU and send you to Iraq to get killed," and my brother just shrugs and says he'll move to Canada. And I tell him how Bush wants a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage and he wants abortion to be illegal, and it's all met with indifference. From my brother and from probably most people our age. Why?
