Arrgh. I just spent about 3 hours making a roughly 24 second animation and then when I tried exporting it as a .swf, the sound wasn't in synch with the picture, though it was fine in Preview Mode. I had Real-Time Preview turned on but that shouldn't screw it up like that! How the hell am I supposed to make animation with sound if I can't see how it's going to work without exporting it?!
So what software do all the cool people (*cough*
potterpals) use? It's like I've had to fight LiveMotion every step of the way to get it to do what I want. The UI isn't as nice as what I've come to expect from Adobe. I mean, I love Photoshop. So how come I can't show and hide layers as part of the bloody animation?! How come I have to make the layers transparent to get around that? There has to be an easier way!
It would help if I had a decent program for converting and editing sound files. It's no fun having to play the whole animation every time I need to check whether I've made a change in the right place or it should be one frame earlier.
*sigh*
Going to sleep now. Having accomplished nothing.
