Writer's Block: Cold turkey

Apart from that, it's very traditional: stuffing (a.k.a. bread dressing), yams (but with pecan streusel topping instead of the standard marshmallows), mashed potatoes, green bean casserole. Also boiled veggies, because we are English after all, bread sticks, and pecan pie for dessert.
I guess it's also untraditional in that it's just the four of us: me, my parents and my brother. We don't do a big family thing. And nobody watches football or the parade. I'm helping my mum with the cooking but she prepped everything yesterday so there's a lot of down time. Kind of wishing I'd brought my laptop so I could play Star Trek.
